Covered and Smothered Hash brown Casserole

2 lbs sausage (cooked, crumbled, and drained)
1 large package of frozen hash browns, my package was 32 ounces (I used the shredded kind, I think the chunks would be good too)
2 pkgs of Peppered Gravy mix
4 1/4 cups milk
2 cups grated cheddar cheese

cook sausage

Mix the milk with the dry gravy packets and cook until it just starts to bubble.  Remove from heat

Spread 1/2 the hash browns on the bottom of the pan top with 1/2 the cheese cover with the rest of the browns and press into bottom of pan.  

Top with the gravy, then the sausage.  Bake at 400 for 30 minutes covered.  Remove cover and top with rest of the cheese, bake for 10 more minutes.
