4 to 5 boneless/skinless chicken breasts
2 c brown sugar packed
1 c soy sauce
1 clove of garlic crushed
1 tsp ginger (optional)
1/4 cup minced onion (optional)
Put frozen chicken in crockpot
Mix the rest of the ingredients in small mixing bowl & pour over chicken cook on low 6 hours or high 4 hours.
Once its cooked chicken should just fall apart with minimal pressure. Place desired amount over white rice in a bowl.
Syndy's Commentary:
I did not have chicken so I used pork and it worked wonderfully. I did not use the ginger because I didn't have any and family didn't notice. I also only had garlic powder, but I will use fresh next time. Everyone ate this in my family including my 6 year old who is really picky. I served with steamed veggies and extra sauce from the crock pot on the side. It's a keeper! Thanks Jessica for the recipe!
